Hi, I'm Luke. sometimes known as Lenlow. That's me on the left there, about 5 years ago. Hey, redesigning websites is a pain. Anyhoo, I live in Boston. I do computer stuff for a living. My hobbies include making mashups and playing them out live. Go over to my music page for that stuff. Or hang out here and listen to me blog. Since most of my free time is music-oriented, that tends to be what I blog about. You've been warned.

Okay one more post before I go... since lots of my friends have said "Chocolate Cake" was their favorite song I've put together, and since many of those friends would be attending Mash Ave, I decided to play it. But first I extended it and did some stuff to it. However I think most people couldn't hear Bill Cosby talking... so that's a bummer... well, now you can hear him.

Chocolate Cake Revisited

First of all, mega-thanks to everyone who came out to Mash Ave Monday night. I had a blast, and I hope you did too. The management was pretty blown away by the number of people we got to show up on a Monday night during a Patriots game. And it looks like in the new year some time they're going to try to get us in there on a regular monthly basis! That would be great... and I'll keep you posted. I put up some pictures and our set lists on MashAve.com.

Second of all, I whipped up a new tune last night and today. I call it "B-Girl Battle". Picture Beyonce, Britney and BEP's Fergie dukin' it out in a singing competition. Or picture a catfight, if that's more your thing.

Third of all, have a holly jolly Thanksgiving. I leave for Seoul/Tokyo/San Francisco Sunday morning, so it might be a while before my next post.

Lenlow mentioned in WorldChanging mash-up article. I was pretty floored to see my name up there with the names of my mash-up heroes. And then floored again to see Mash Ave hyped before it even happened. And then floored again when the article ended with a shout-out to one of my tunes. Maybe I should just stay on the floor.

I'm going to San Francisco!

I found out that the weekend after my Seoul/Tokyo business trip is December Bootie in San Fran, the biggest mashup night in the USA. And the best in the biz, Go Home Productions, will be flying in from England to do a set at Bootie, and a set in the VIP area of an Interpol concert. Or something like that.

And I got the OK to swing by SF on my way home from Tokyo to Boston. Coooooool.

A gentleman by the name of FaultSide has taken my "Sweet Child O Ravi" boot and added his own original lyrics. And it's actually quite good! See for yourself:

More exciting news. I will soon be making my non-wedding DJ debut! My friend DJ BC and I got a gig at River Gods in Central Square. Monday, November 22. I am excited. We will be spinning the best mash-ups from around the globe. We are calling the evening:

Won't you join us? (Click the pic.)

Couple of cool things, both coming as news from DJ Zebra. Apparently Daft Punk's manager has a radio show ("biggest techno radio in Paris"), and on Sunday he played my Daft Punk boot, "The Harder It Comes"! Zebra also said he had a listener email him singing the praises of my Nirvana/J-Lo/Stevie boot. So those things make me happy. I love getting emails from DJ Zebra.

I'm back. Had a pretty crappy weekend; I was sick with a fever/headache/cough that is only now going away. I was kinda bummed because I had to miss the Red Sox victory parade, and a frisbee tournament that I actually wanted to play in. AND I had to miss Halloween... oh wait I don't like Halloween.

So, I lost that last round of the Bootlympics. I was a little disappointed and a little surprised. But it's not the end of the world. By far. Some people are saying it was rigged, but maybe they were just being nice. At any rate, DJ Zebra likes "J-Lo vs K-Co vs S-Wo" enough to start off his radio show with it. Tune into OuiFM tomorrow (Friday) night at 6:00 to hear my LOSING boot on the radio in Paris. Or just grab the song from my music page. Whateva.
